I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all the team at Global for a great time last week. The organisation was superb and for us riders it meant that we could just concentrate on riding our bikes which was brilliant. All your team were very professional and really supportive and helpful. It was a great route (apart from Thursday morning!) and I really enjoyed the challenge.
Please pass on my thanks to all the team.
Danny Walker – London to Paris Bike Ride
I just want to drop you an e-mail to say thanks for all your help running up to the date of the trip.
Also, I would like to say a huge thanks to you and extended one to all who were involved in organising the Zambezi Blast, the trip was amazing from start to finish. I definitely had the time of my life and didn’t want to come home!
I will definitely be looking to do another in the future which I hope lives up to my very high expectations having experienced the Zambezi Blast.
Thanks again!!
Caroline O’Keeffe – Zambezi Blast
Got back from the Canyon the other week and had an amazing time!! I really enjoyed myself and the trip was a great experience in a part of the world I had never been to.
The 2 leaders of our trek – Angie and Blake, were fantastic and looked after us really well. I am still going to undertake further Challenges and am trekking in Morocco next year.
Louise Linn – Grand Canyon
The Peruvian Inca Trail was my first challenge, it was very hard going at times but very rewarding with magnificent scenery, the trip well exceeded my expectations, best experience ever!
We got excellent support from Janet Croker our Global Adventure Challenges Group Leader and also the porters who carried our food/tents/chairs etc and just about everything to make life on the trail as reasonably comfortable as possible, even the bowl of warm water they provided everyone with at the end of each days trek was a welcome relief for our tired feet, wonderful.
I have no hesitation in recommending the trek with Global Adventure Challenges who did a wonderful job organising the trip, accommodation, hotels and transfers etc.
Besides achieving a personal ambition, this was an excellent way to raise funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice. I can’t wait to do another fund raising challenge, and hope to trek in the Grand Canyon next year.
Sue Hardy – Peruvian Inca Trail Challenge
A belated but big thanks to all at Global for your support for the trek itself and our extension. The national park was really special, the accommodation fantastic, Cheryl a great choice. Milton and the other guides were great and we all got on really well in the group.
Rio was fab and our extension in Saquarema was just right – would recommend the Ituana Inn to anyone travelling near Rio.
Mary Robertson – Trek Brazil
I’m back from the Everest Base Camp Trek, in one piece, thanks to Dawa who beyond the call of duty helped me to complete the challenge. He was a Doctor, Mother, Father, Teacher, Guide and an excellent ambassador of his country, and for Global Adventure Challenges. He was also a hero…..I don’t know if you have heard, about the helicopter crash while we were on the Trek – he and some of us Trekkers assisting, got three survivors from the top of the mountain to the safety of a lodge before they were rescued by another helicopter – he done all this in his stride and much more.
Also, I must say that the rest of his crew were brilliant. I would not hesitate in recommending this man to anyone who wanted to trek in Nepal. I know it must sound a bit over the top but it really is justly deserved.
Steven Sweet – Everest Basecamp
At the age of 56yrs and retired, Mt Kilimanjaro was to be my once in a lifetime experience, and what an amazing experience it was! I’ve got so many memories that will stay with me forever. The organisation by Global was first class. Tanzania, the people and the culture was captivating. The trek to Uhuru, the summit of the highest stand alone mountain in the world, was tough but very rewarding.
Teri Bexon, our Global challenge leader led by example. The camaraderie amongst our group was incredible and with the support of the porters, the chef, the doctor, the guides and lots of encouragement and help made the ascent to the summit possible.
A once in a lifetime experience……hang on…..I have only one lifetime, I want more!! Get me the number for Global!!
Bob Heredge – Kilimanjaro
