One in four children in the UK suffers from acute medical conditions, and every day over 10 families are told that their child has cancer. This often means that one or both parents have to give up work and become full time carers for their children. Sometimes there is only one parent and siblings at home, therefore making things very tiring for the lone parent.

Annabel’s Wish offers holidays or short respite breaks, to help improve the lives of sick children and their families. We raise funds for children and young adults from 0 to 21, helping the terminally ill have a family break with their whole family.

It is a sad fact that children die every day from these dreadful illnesses, then mum and dad are sadly left behind to make a normal life for the other members of the family. It is also in these cases we would like to help with a holiday in memory of their loved one lost.

We strive to fulfil every genuine request for help and it is only with the generosity and kind support from the public that we are able to help these children.
