The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, based in Huddersfield, supports children with a life limiting or life threatening condition and their families.

There are an estimated 400 children and young people across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield who will die before reaching adulthood.

Some of them will die when very young; others will deteriorate slowly over many years. Families caring for these children and young people – often 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – can feel under enormous emotional, physical and financial strain.

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice offers care and support to these families, helping ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances to cope with the challenges of daily life.

Through a Hospice at Home service, play and residential breaks the hospice offers families an opportunity to create memories and moments that can last a lifetime.
