Henshaws Society for Blind People is a community-based charity that makes a difference to the lives of blind and visually impaired people across the north of England. We aim to ensure that visually impaired and blind people have access to the information, local services and opportunities they need to live the lives they want for themselves. We have a variety of services to help people of all ages.

This ranges from children attending our holiday club, to teenagers studying at our college, unemployed people completing our vocational training scheme, and supporting elderly people to enable them to stay in their own home.
