Kainos community works to reduce reoffending by lives being changed. Participants on our flagship ‘Challenge to Change’ prison programme are equipped to break criminal habits and end repetitive cycles of offending. Our programme enables people to live purposeful and stable lives both during their sentence and after release. Our objectives include improving prisoner behaviour, reducing drug use and violence, creating healthy community environments on a prison wing, furthering offender’s chances of gaining education and employment once released from prison and equipping ex-offenders with practical social skills for active citizenship in the community. Over 100 volunteers and mentors work alongside our trained staff in building safer stronger communities by reducing reoffending.
