Learning for Life works with regional partners in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan, to provide education and opportunity to children and young people, in areas where there is none. We support the development of innovative curricula, and programmes that increase the enrolment and retention of children in schools – particularly girls in rural areas.

Learning for Life works for education that is realistic and relevant to people’s lives. Health and civic education is addressed alongside literacy, and vocational training is provided where appropriate. In the UK we run a development awareness programme for primary schools, based on our experiences in South Asia.
