The MAD (Make A Difference) Foundation, Registered UK Charity No.
1111805, helps people in some of the world’s poorest countries to help themselves, by working with them at a grassroots level to develop much needed community resources. Our goal is to help advance education and alleviate poverty anywhere in the world.

To date, the MAD Foundation has helped build and renovate schools, pre-schools, orphanages, clinics, water and sanitation systems; provided scholarships, workshops and placements throughout Africa, South America, and South East Asia; creating life-changing projects for developing communities. Every penny raised for the MAD Foundation directly benefits communities in the developing world, with all funds going to community projects for the purchase of building materials and equipment. Without the support of volunteers, donors, sponsors and supporters, our valuable work would not exist. Since 1999 we have built 128 classrooms, 12 pre-schools, 1 technical block, 1 home for street children, and 8 playgrounds for community schools, which have provided safe learning environments for thousands of children. However, schools are often still overcrowded and facilities are lacking. Further joint projects between MAD and rural communities are desperately needed.
