Meningitis Research Foundation currently funds 31 research projects, which have a total value of over £4 million, into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia. Until these devastating diseases are eradicated, raising awareness of the signs and symptoms for the general public and health professionals is a high priority, and so the Foundation develops and distributes clear and accessible education and information resources on these diseases.
