Skill is a national charity promoting opportunities for people with all kinds of disabilities – physical and sensory disabilities, learning and mental health difficulties – in education, work-based learning and transition to employment. Skill provides an information and advice service free to disabled people, their families and key advisers through a telephone helpline, emails and letters, and a 500+ page website with Frequently Asked Questions and downloadable information including information booklets and up-to-date policy briefings.

Skill promotes good practice in post-16 provision through publications and events including topical thematic conferences, and influences government and statutory agencies on the impact of national policies.
