For over 60 years UNICEF has been the world’s leader for children, working on the ground in more than 150 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence. Working with local communities and governments, we ensure that every child is helped to reach their full potential, as individuals and as members of their communities.

Through our long term and emergency programmes for healthcare, education and rights issues, we offer care and protection for all children at risk. UNICEF is not funded by the UN. Instead, we rely on voluntary donations to fund our work for children worldwide.
