Yorkshire Cancer Research aims to expand the knowledge held about cancer in order to offer hope for the future of cancer sufferers.

The charity funds world renowned researchers investigating the cause and cure of cancer, in the region’s five centres of research excellence at the Universities of Bradford, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York.

Research is expensive. YCR only funds research of the highest quality, as reviewed by cancer experts around the world. Currently, we are only able to fund half of the top-rated projects that apply for funding. We’d like to fund them all.
