Cycle for charity from the ocean’s aquamarine waters to the lush, green of the rainforest – Costa Rica provides a stunning backdrop for this awesome charity challenge and it’s no coincidence that it means ‘Rich Coast’ in Spanish.

Mother Nature has endowed the country with a virtual treasure trove of white sand beaches, tropical rainforest and a myriad of rare flora and fauna, spread between the Pacific and Caribbean.

Join us as we cycle for charity across Costa Rica from Coast to Coast. This breathtaking charity bike ride encompasses traditional Costa Rican farmlands, bustling colonial cities, stunning mountain ranges, smouldering volcanoes and tropical Caribbean lowlands.

Day 1 – Depart UK and arrive San Jose, Costa Rica.

Day 2 – Transfer 4 hours to Playa del Coco – Cycle to Guardia. Cycling distance – approx. 33km

Day 3 – Guardia to Guayabo. Cycling distance – approx. 75km

Day 4 – Guayabo to Lake Aranel. Cycling distance – approx. 64km

Day 5 – Lake Arenal to Volcano Arenal. Cycling distance – approx. 42km

Day 6 – Volcano Arenal to San Miguel. Cycling distance – approx. 85km

Day 7 – San Miguel to Rita. Cycling distance – approx. 68km

Day 8 – Rita to Finca Pacuarito. Cycling distance – approx. 66km

Day 9 – Finca Pacuarito to Boca del Pantano. Transfer to San Jose for celebration meal. Cycling distance approx. 50km.

Day 10 – Transfer to San Jose Airport for our flights back to the UK.

Day 11 – Arrive UK.
