Your Challenge...

Trek to the base of the World’s highest mountain!

This world renowned classic trek from Lukla to Kala Patthar takes you through the World’s highest mountain range, and also takes in the most breath-taking mountain scenery ever imaginable.

Eight of the world’s 14 highest peaks are found in the Nepalese Himalayas. This challenge takes you to a staggering altitude of 5,545m, with amazing views of Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,511m), Makalu (8,481m), the list of peaks goes on………it’s pure Himalayan magic!

Your trek commences from Lukla, into the Sherpa Capital of Namche Bazaar. Continuing up, we trek past the awesome monastery at Tyangboche and then up again to reach our goal – Everest Base Camp, 5,357m. For those with enough energy, we then push onto to summit Kala Patthar (5,545m) for, without a doubt, the best view of Mt Everest and the stunning Khumbu Icefall.

Our itinerary has been designed to maximise everyone’s chance of success and the trekking is taken at a measured pace, with proper acclimatisation (98% success rate in 2008).

Follow in the footsteps of the World’s greatest explorers and experience the best views of Mt Everest!
