Your Challenge...

Ever dreamt of driving your own team of spirited huskies 250km across the Arctic from Norway to Sweden. Civilisation left far behind, and finishing at the world famous Ice Hotel in Jukarssarvi! – well now you can!

Spend six days sledding through rolling highlands and deep forest, into the heart of Lapland on an experience you will never forget.

Your adventure begins in the city of Tromso, at our Dog Sled Centre to meet some of our fellow mushers and also, the Team of Huskies!  We then dive straight into the spirit of adventure and spend out first night in a traditional Lavvo, surrounding the roaring fire.

Full training will be given on how to steer and brake the sled and no previous dog sledding experience is necessary – just a good will for extreme adventure!  This is no ordinary Charity Challenge – you will be required to erect your own tents and also cook for yourself using camping equipment provided.  As well as taking care of yourself, you will also be required to help harness, feed and clean up after the Team of Huskies – this is a real, “hands on” Challenge!

Watching the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and tending your dogs will help you gain a true feeling for living as the Laplanders do.

A truly unforgettable experience.
