Route 2

Cycling from London to Paris is by far one of the best fundraising events in Europe, and the best of bike rides for charity to hit the sector! Join our London to Paris Bike Ride for a truly inspirational experience, and a great way to raise funds for the charity of your choice.

Starting in London, our 300 mile, 4 day route takes us through glorious English countryside, through the stunning South Downs in order for us to catch the ferry from Dover to Calais. Once ‘French side’, we push on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France. Get ready for a fantastic charity bike ride – the tarmac in France is superb, and cycling is the nation’s favourite sport so don’t be surprised when the locals make way for you and cheer you on!

Whether you are a regular cyclist, or simply enjoy a Sunday afternoon meander, this charity cycle event is perfect for you. We cater for all levels of ability on this ride. The special cycling experience, combined with a fantastic support crew to look after you, means this charity challenge is no longer a dream but a reality. Don’t worry about your luggage, water or food – we take care of it all – leaving you to just cycle and focus on your goal of reaching Paris.

Our route passes many war monuments and memorials, which always bring home a sobering thought of our existence. The pièce de résistance of this cycle for charity will be the spectacular view of the 324 metre Eiffel Tower, which marks our finish line. The days in the saddle are long, but upon reaching Paris and celebrating our achievements in this fabulous capital, the saddle soreness soon wears off!

Due to the unforeseen late finish of the 2013 Tour De France, we have secured an extra night’s accommodation in Paris in order for each participant to still have the option to see the finale.

We are offering all participants one of the following options:

Option 1 – GAC to organise an extra night’s accommodation in Paris; twin share, breakfast, for Sunday 21st July at a cost of £75.

Option 2 – Participants arrange their own accommodation in Paris for Sunday 21st July.

Option 3 – Participants come home on the Eurostar Sunday 21st July as originally planned.

With options 1 & 2, an early morning Eurostar will be booked for each participant for Monday 22nd July. Bicycles will be reunited with participants in London on Monday morning, when they alight from the Eurostar. There is no additional cost for this, with exception of the extra night’s accommodation.

Option 3, the participants will come home as planned and be reunited with their bicycles in London once they alight from the Eurostar on Sunday evening.

Please let us know which Option you prefer when you have registered by clicking on this link to complete the form: http://www.globaladventurechallenges.com/l2p-form/
