South Downs Weekend Trek

Join other employees of Bibby Line Group and challenge yourself to trek 26 miles over 2 days through the stunning South Downs National Park. Our charity challenge starts in Lewes and follows the South Downs Way incorporating the Seven Sisters Country Park and high coastline cliffs with breathtaking views of our English coastline. We end our charity trek at Beachy Head, just outside of Eastbourne. Join us for a fantastic trekking challenge and support the charity of your choice!

Your Itinerary

Day 1 – We meet at our campsite in Seaford, East Sussex for event registration and challenge briefing. Transfers from Eastbourne Station will be made available for those travelling on train.

Day 2 – Lewes to Seaford – Following breakfast at camp we take the transfer to Lowes which marks the start of our trek. We trek south out of Lewes and follow local footpaths until we reach the South Downs Way just outside of Rodmell. We trek camp in the charming seaside of Seaford where we overnight. Trekking distance – approx. 13 miles

Day 3 – Seaford to Eastbourne – Trekking east we encounter Seaford Head, then trek inland to briefly join the Vanguard Way before reconnecting with the South Downs Way at Seven Sisters Country Park. We trek towards Beachy Head and then celebrate our achievements just outside of Eastbourne as we finish our weekend challenge. Trekking distance – approx. 13 miles
