4YP

4YP has a very simple objective – to help young people transform their lives and fulfil their potential. The charity was founded in 2000 and since then has helped thousands of 12 to 25-year-olds.

Our work is never ending and we receive no Government funding, rely heavily on the generous donations of the public, and that’s why, for our charity, every donation really counts.

Our services include counselling for 12 to 25-year-olds in emotional turmoil or crisis, supporting those who have no permanent home, offering young people volunteering opportunities and help finding work.

Based in Suffolk, we have three full-time staff, sixteen part-time staff, and fourteen volunteers. Our team of volunteers includes our inspirational 28-year-old Patron, Olympic contender and former world number one archer Nicky Hunt.

Our Community Champion volunteers are Paralympian hand cyclist Brian Alldis, 25, from Bury St Edmunds and world-class marathon runner and Olympic contender Helen Decker, 32, from Ipswich.
