Action Heart is a ‘local’ registered charity based within the Dudley Group of Hospital
NHS Trust.

Here at Action Heart we are dedicated to the primary and secondary prevention of Coronary Heart Disease. Our 12-month exercise and education programme enables our patients to return to a ‘normal’ everyday life much stronger, fitter and with a renewed confidence in life.

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme is now one of the largest and most comprehensive in the UK, and has helped in excess of 10,000 patients in the West Midlands area since its formation in 1976.

Whilst the charity does receive some funding from Dudley NHS Primary Care Trusts it depends greatly on its fundraising activities and donations from the local community.
