Founded in 1962 by a pioneering group of parents HFT is now a leading organisation for people with learning disabilities in the UK and provides – residential services, day service only placements, supported living opportunities, specialist services for specific syndromes, supported employment placements, carer support services, research and advocacy services.

Also transition workshops, to help ease the progression from child to adult services, short breaks (respite care), and information and communication technology for people using our services.
