Devastatingly in the UK 17 babies every day are stillborn or die within the first four weeks of life.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity offers emotional support and practical help to anyone affected by the death of a baby. We work in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care. We promote changes in practice and fund research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
