The Thistle Foundation provides flexible and responsive services that enable disabled people and their families to live independent and integrated lives within their own local communities throughout Scotland. They aim to challenge inequality of opportunity and the barriers in society that exclude disabled people from full participation.

Many of the people that The Thistle Foundation supports have recently moved from hospitals and care homes and are living for the first time in their own home. The Thistle Foundation supports people through life changes and assists them to plan for their future and to make these plans a reality.
