There are over 23,500 children and young people in the UK unlikely to reach adulthood. Some of them die when very young; others deteriorate over many years. Families caring for these children and young people – often 24 hours a day, seven days a week – are under enormous emotional, physical and financial strain. These are ordinary people leading extraordinary lives.

Together for Short Lives is the only charity representing these families. We work to ensure that every life-limited child and their family gets the best possible care and support whenever and wherever they need it.
