24 Peak Challenge

This exciting challenge will see us summit an incredible 24 peaks in the Lake District, all over 2,400ft with a target trekking time of 24 hours!

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK, filled with breathtaking mountains and valleys – it is the perfect backdrop to this awesome challenge. The days will be long and the trekking tough, but the rewards of hiking into the heart of this amazing National Park and the accomplishment of conquering 24 peaks will make your efforts worthwhile.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 – We meet at Penrith train station, then transfer to our accommodation for event registration and briefing.

Day 2 – Bowfell to Green Gable. We conquer the first 9 peaks of our challenge:

1. Bowfell – 2959ft
2. Esk Pike – 2903ft
3. Great End – 2985ft
4. Ill Crag – 3067ft
5. Broad Crag – 3064ft
6. Scafell Pike – 3208ft
7. Lingmell – 2647ft
8. Great Gable – 2949ft
9. Green Gable – 2627ft

Trekking distance – approx. 28km / target time 13 hours

Day 3 – Red Screes to Great Dodd. We summit the remaining 15 peaks before congratulations all round and our onward journeys home.

12. Hart Crag – 2696ft
13. Fairfield – 2864ft
14. Seat Sandal – 2414ft
15. Dollywaggon Pike – 2414ft
16. High Crag – 2441ft

19. Browncove Crags – 2818ft
20. Lower Man – 3034ft
21. Whiteside – 3831ft
22. Raise – 2896ft
23. Stybarrow Dodd – 2765ft
24. White Stones – 2608ft
