Schools Development Funding through Challenge Events

Schools Development Funding through Challenge Events

Many schools across the UK are using what’s called ‘Schools’ Development’ – but what is that we hear you ask?!

Schools’ development is professional fundraising within schools, in order to achieve the schools’ objectives in providing extra funding for their pupils – whether this be a new Sports Campus, increasing access to education for disadvantaged children or to improve learning environments.  The fundraising is typically achieved through the school generating support from their alumni, parents and other key stakeholders.

Earlier in 2021 we were approached by The Royal Latin School to deliver a Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to boost their income for a new Sports Campus.   The event was a tremendous success with 20 participants successfully completing the challenge and raising a fantastic amount of funds.

"Global Adventure Challenges delivered a Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for us in July 2021. Their team were fantastically helpful, from start to finish - from helping us to select the right challenge, briefing our participants, providing training advice, and then supporting and motivating our team on the big day.  We were thrilled that the event raised over £18,000 for our new Sports Campus, and we'll definitely work with Global Adventure Challenges to deliver any future challenges!"

We are very excited to now be able to offer our services to the education sector and in 2023 we are delighted to be delivering a Sahara Trek for Lords Wandsworth College, Hampshire!

If you, or any family or friends work within School Development, please encourage them to contact us on pete@globaladventurechallenges.com to chat about how we can help them raise substantial funds through our challenge events.
